Revolut Metal/Ultra in 2026 — what's actually included
Revolut's lounge benefits get confused often, because two different products live under similar names. Here's the 2026 split:
- SmartDelay (free perk on paid plans): if your flight is delayed by more than an hour, Revolut sends a free lounge pass at qualifying airports. This is the only "automatic" lounge benefit — and it only triggers on a delay.
- Lounge access via LoungeKey: Metal and Ultra cardholders can buy lounge entry through the LoungeKey network at a discounted rate inside the Revolut app. This is paid access, not complimentary — typical fee around US$30–35 per visit per person, often with no included guest.
- Priority Pass: not bundled with Revolut Metal or Ultra in 2026.
How Lounge Surf works for Revolut holders
If you don't want to pay the LoungeKey fee or wait for a delay to trigger SmartDelay, Lounge Surf is the alternative: post your flight, get matched with another traveler who already has lounge access through their card or status (Priority Pass, Centurion, Sapphire Reserve, Star Alliance Gold, etc.), and they bring you in as a guest. Free, no delay required.
