Capital One Venture X in 2026 — pay-per-guest is the new reality
In February 2026, Capital One Venture X moved to a pay-per-guest model. Complimentary guests are no longer included; each guest costs about US$35 at the lounge desk. The change was rolled out to ease lounge overcrowding and brings Venture X in line with the broader 2026 trend toward "lounge taxes" on guests.
